Wine collectors agree that the ideal temperature for maturing fine wine is 55 degrees F to 57 degrees F. Properly balanced humidity, withing a range of 50-70%, plays an important role in keeping corks moist, which prevents oxidation from damaging your investment. Our cooling systems, WhisperKOOL and the QT system maintain the ideal humidity of 70%.

Liquid-Measuring Thermostat

The WhisperKOOLTM System incorporaates a probe that measures the temperature of the liquid in the wine bottle and not the air temperature of the cellar. This feature provides these distinct advantages:

  • Wine is maintained at at precise, measured temperature at all times
  • The unit maintains humidity through longer cooling cycles
  • Longer cooling cycles mean less wear and tear on the cooling system and fewer on/off occurences and a longer life cycle for the system.
